Nation Ford High Band marching to Alabama

The Nation Ford High School Band was named Grand Champion, receiving the highest score overall in the Olde English Festival of Bands.

The band received the following awards at the Sept. 24 event:

▪ First Place Band Class AAAA

▪ First Place Music Class AAAA

▪ First Place Overall Effect Class AAAA

▪ First Place Percussion Class AAAA

The Nation Ford Band’s next performance will be in the Bands of America regional competition at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Ala., Oct. 1.
