Fort Mill High School Band in U.S. semifinals

The Fort Mill High School Marching Band advanced to the semifinals of the Bands of America Nationals at Lucas Oil Stadium Friday.

The top 35 bands out of 100 from around the U.S. advanced to the semifinals Saturday morning and afternoon. The top 12 bands from semis will advance to the finals on Saturday night and compete for the BOA national championship.

Nation Ford High School, which won the South Carolina 4A Marching Band title, also competed at the BOA event, but did not advance.
