Christmas is in the air in Fort Mill and Tega Cay

“Christmas Around The World” was the theme of this year’s annual Fort Mill Christmas Parade held Saturday. This year, the town gave our awards for the best floats and marchers. The winners are: Best Car, Unique Tanning/Styling; Best Walking Group, Tiger Kim’s Tae kwon Do; Most Creative, Carolina Cutie Pies; Best In Theme, NAFO International Club; Most Holiday Spirit, Fort Mill Church of God.

Also Saturday, the city of Tega Cay held its annual Christmas tree lighting. Earlier in the week, on Thursday, Fort Mill officially kicked off the Christmas season with its annual tree lighting.
