Nathan McFalls

CLOVER -- Nathan Layfatte McFalls, 80, of 507 Flatrock St., died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at home.

The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at Greater Life Ministries in Clover. The Rev. Milton Smith will be officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

A native of Clover, S.C., Nathan McFalls was a son of the late William Roy McFalls and Bertha Mize McFalls. He was a member of Greater Life Ministries. He worked in manufacturing at Firestone. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a dedicated family man, who trusted God in good times and bad times. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Inez Nichols McFalls of Clover; two daughters, Cathy Knight and husband, David, of Clover and Frankie Roof and husband, Sam of Clover; his son, James McFalls and wife, Dana of Stanley, N.C.; three brothers, Richard McFalls and wife, Katie of York, S.C., Junior McFalls of Chester, S.C., and Jerry McFalls and wife, Chayo of Clover; and his sister, Mildred Teague and husband, Ray of McConnells, S.C. He is also survived by grandchildren, David Knight Jr. and wife, Tammy, Brandi Christopher and husband, Jason, Billy Roof, Wesley Roof, Lauren McFalls and Jamie McFalls; and great-grandchildren, C.J. Knight, Nate Knight and Morgan Knight. He was preceded in death by sister, Nell Whetstine of McConnells.

Visitation will be at Bratton Funeral Home today, Nov. 9, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m.
