Lake Wylie spotter featured in online magazine
Katherine Gillis of Lake Wylie is featured in the film photographer’s e-magazine The Looking Glass.
Ansel Adam’s protege Alan Ross, who has worked with Gillis for 22 years, suggested photographers would appreciate knowing a traditional spotter (retoucher) because it is a lost art since most retouchers are digital retouchers. Gillis has skills to retouch prints and negatives with a hair brush and dyes.
Gillis once had clients from as far away as Norway.
