OMS going to state tourney

For the third consecutive year, Oakridge Middle School archery team for qualified to compete in the state tournament March 26 at Sumter.

Team members are Alexa Roveri, Lucas Hall, Isaac Crago, Drew Thurman, Isabella Huston, Dawson Wainscott, Adam Arowski, Dylan Walden, Jack Winter, Conor Lee, Olivia John, Mackenzie Dragun, Cory Chambers, Cameron McPherson, Nic Popichak, Trevor Stevens, Jonathan Messer, Michael Kramer, Jack Stocks, Ian Storms, Kaitlyn Quigg, Jay Watts, Seth Curl, Cierra Hill and Dustin Byrd.

CHS students show tops in strength

Two Clover High School sophomores placed in the S.C. State Strength Meet March 14.

AJ Pennington took third in the 220-pound JV division.

Preston Vang earned fourth in the 260-pound JV category.

CHS had 11 qualify this year, eight of whom were qualified for JV, the largest total of any high school at the meet.
