▪  Rock Hill Area Shag Club, St. Patrick’s Day party will be 8 p.m. March 21 at Celebrations at Ramada Inn. The group will meet at 7 p.m. Dinner provided. Members, $3; guests, $5.

▪  Nation Ford High School Winter Ensembles, performance at 7 p.m. March 27 in the school gym. Four distinct shows by the percussion ensemble and winter guard. Free and open to the public.

▪  Have your business idea evaluated free at a Charlotte SCORE introductory workshop 5-7 p.m. at the Fort Mill Public Library. Register by calling 803-547-4114. For more information, go to charlotte.score.org.

▪  4-H/FFA Swine Project Show and Sale, 10 a.m. March 28 at the Chester Livestock Exchange, 2531 Lancaster Highway, Chester. 4-H and FFA members will show their hogs after raising them for three months. Awards will be presented for Grand and Reserve Champions and Average Daily Gain winners. The public is encouraged to attend and bid on hogs for sale.

▪  2015 Moon Flute Quartet Concert, 3-4:15 p.m. March 29 at the Cultural Arts Center of Lancaster County, 307 W. Gay St., Lancaster. Free admission and parking. For more information, go to emk-music.com.

▪  Easter egg hunt and pancake breakfast, hosted by the Tega Cay Lions Club 8-11 a.m. April 4 at Runde Field. Open to children from infants to 9 years old; the hunt begins at 10 a.m. Take a photo with the Easter Bunny. The pancake breakfast will be held at the firehouse next to Runde Field. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, coffee, orange juice and hot chocolate. Tickets are $7 for adults and $2 for children. For tickets, call 803-369-3013.

▪  Easter Egg hunt and more, 3-5 p.m. April 4 at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 130 Tom Hall St., Fort Mill. Children up to grade five welcome. Activities will include an Easter egg hunt, crafts and games. For more information, email sjumckids1@gmail.com.

▪  A golf tournament, will be held April 16 for Children’s Organ Transplant Association in honor of Jordan Diggs, a Chester-area teen who needs a kidney transplant, at the Chester Golf Club, 770 Old Richburg Road. Tee time is 9 a.m. Early registration deadline is March 27, and the last date to register is April 6. ▪ $1 dance lessons, the Lake Wylie Shag Club offers shag lessons and line dance lessons at 6 p.m. Tuesdays at the Fort Mill Moose Lodge, 1676 Harris Road, for $1. Line-dance lessons begin at 6 p.m.; shag lessons begin at 7:30 p.m.; and an open dance floor starts at 8 p.m. The event features a DJ and snack bar.

▪  Rent a kayak, at the Anne Springs Close Greenway to take out on 28-acre Lake Haigler. $7 for a one-person kayak, or $10 for a tandem kayak for 30 minutes. To make a reservation, call 803-548-7252.

▪  Fort Mill VFW Monthly Breakfast, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. the second Sunday of each month in the VFW Hall, 1442 Harris Road, Fort Mill. Coffee, scrambled eggs, grits, sausage, bacon, hash browns, biscuits, fruit and hotcakes are offered for $6. Open to the public and family-friendly.

▪  Preschool storytime and activities, for 3- to 5-year-olds and their caregivers, will be 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesdays at the Del Webb Library, 7641 Charlotte Highway, Fort Mill.

▪  Book clubs for adults, at the Fort Mill Public Library, 1818 Second Baxter Crossing, Fort Mill. Join other book lovers for a monthly book discussion. Choose the group that best meets schedule and interests. Details: 803-547-4114.
