Dump truck takes out traffic light in Lake Wylie

Drivers on S.C. 274 near Pole Branch Road in Lake Wylie are advised to slow down while work continues today to restore the traffic light.

S.C. Department of Transportation officials said crews are working to restore the traffic light and replacing poles after a dump truck hit it earlier this morning.

“It should be finished by the end of the business day,” and SCDOT official said.
