All that smoke on the Greenway shouldn’t have cause alarm. The experts were out there taking care of it.

And causing it.

Fort Mill Fire Department members completed a wildland firefighting training class, then put that knowledge to use with a controlled burn Thursday at the Anne Springs Close Greenway. Several acres near the trial barn were burned.
