River Hills church names associate worship minister
River Hills Community Church has named Bobby Little as associate minister of worship and arts.
Little participated on a worship team leading 30,000 students in St. Louis, toured with worship leader Ryan Internicola, has led worship services in the Charlotte area and has recorded with a Christian recording artist.
He and wife Marcy have two children, Kaity, who sings with the Clover High School Choraliers, and Xander, who attends Oakridge Middle School.
Wagon of Hope benefit for Relay
The First Baptist Church of York Relay for Life team, Stars of Hope, will sell tickets for a chance to win a Big Red Wagon of Hope at the May 23 relay.
The Western York County Relay for Life will be at the field behind York Middle School. The estimated cost of the items in the wagon is about $500, including a $120 wagon donated by Tractor Supply in York.
Tickets are $2 each or three for $5, available in advance or at the event.
Clover church plans fundraiser drawing
Clover AME Zion Church, Kings Mountain Highway, will host a fundraiser drawing May 30 for a chance to win a 50-inch television.

Bible study opens registration
Community Bible Study – an international, interdenominational, in-depth Bible study –meets at 9 a.m. Wednesdays beginning Sept. 16 at River Hills Community Church.
The study is for women and their children through high school age.
The study is not affiliated with a church. All communities, churches, backgrounds, ages and levels of Bible knowledge are welcome.
The 30 week study of Daniel and Revelation costs $25 for adults and $10 for children, and includes lesson books.

Catholic church plans June 5 festival
All Saints Catholic Church, 530 S.C. 274, will hold a festival at 4 p.m. June 5.
There will be barbecue, a cornhole tournament, a firetruck, games, bounce houses and more. Tickets will be available at the door.

Church to hold family movie nights
Christ the King Church will hold three free family movie nights this summer.
Popcorn, candy and drinks will be available for $1 each. Children younger than age 12 must be accompanied by adult.
