Letter: The good life is gone
Interestingly, today, May 8, a few Tega Cay residents were observed holding protester signs opposing the new traffic light at the entrance into the peninsula. I found their futile attempt poignant towards the disdain of our community’s new growth and inhibited roadway system.
With the recent loss of our namesake peach trees and green spaces, the simple life in Fort Mill/Tega Cay will be history soon. First goes the trees, gives rise to traffic jammed roads and inevitably the crime rate will rise and the pleasantries of “The Good Life” are gone. No thanks to all the appointed and/or government institutions that were designed for the people, not silver lined pockets of a few tyrants.
