Report: Thieves stole toys from Lake Wylie business

Two suspects stole toys and other items May 19 from the Giving Tree Child Care facility at 178 Highway 274.

The suspects climbed the fence to access the playground area at the business. Once in the play area the suspects stole a toy climbing tree, play house set, several boxes of toys and other items valued at $5,350, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office report.

The suspects are described as white males, both with beards, one with a larger build.
