Driver: Slow down, pay attention
To the self-absorbed and indifferent driver of an older sedan with South Carolina plates,
We were southbound on York Road at or about 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday. Unless you were texting or on your cellphone, you must have seen my right turn signal indicator flashing in addition to my hand signal. As I slowed down and began to turn right into the driveway of my church, you elected to pass my motorcycle in the same lane. I understand there was a car beside you in the other lane and you could not get over, but you never slowed down as you barely missed me by no more than a foot or two.
YOU COULD HAVE KILLED ME!
You know who you are. Please slow down, and please pay attention to your driving.
