Bible study registration day June 12
Community Bible Study – an international, interdenominational, in-depth Bible study – has changed its originally scheduled meeting date and will hold a registration day.
The group will not meet at 9:15 a.m. Wednesdays beginning Sept. 2 at River Hills Community Church.
Registration day is 9:30-11:30 a.m. June 12 at the church.
The study is for women and their children through high school age. The study is not affiliated with a church. All communities, churches, backgrounds, ages and levels of Bible knowledge are welcome.
The 30-week study of Daniel and Revelation costs $25 for adults and $10 for children, and includes lesson books.

River Hills Community Church lets freedom ring
“Let Freedom Ring” will be held at 10:30 a.m. June 28 at River Hills Community Church.
The River Hills Community Church Choir, the “Music Men” Choir and the “Sometime Singers” come together under the direction of River Hills’ new Minister of Worship & Arts John Leon Lewis to lift their voices in explosive patriotic praise. Donations wanted for Honduran children’s home
Clover High School students J.D. Davidson, 16, and Christos Karamitros, 17, are traveling June 20 to a children’s home in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
The home offers education and housing to orphans. River Hills Community Church is collecting Spanish-English dictionaries, soccer balls and toothbrushes for the students to distribute. Donations will be accepted through June 19.
Reverse Yard Sale planned for June 20
The Youth at Lake Wylie Lutheran Church are holding a Reverse Yard Sale to benefit a mission trip to Guatemala. Items will have no prices and will be given away with the youth asking for donations in whatever amount people are willing to give. The event will be from 8 a.m. to noon June 20 at Lake Wylie Lutheran Church, at the intersection Highway 160/Gold Hill Road, Fort Mill.
Church to hold family movie nights
Christ the King Church will hold three free family movie nights this summer.
Popcorn, candy and drinks will be available for $1 each. Children younger than age 12 must be accompanied by adult.
▪ 6:30 p.m. June 20: Lawn games will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by “Big Hero 6” at 7:30 p.m. on the lawn. In case of rain, movie will be shown inside.
▪ 5:30 p.m. July 11: “The Lego Movie” inside.
▪ 5:30 p.m. Aug. 29: “McFarland” inside.
