Boat owners invited to join Tega Cay’s July 4 parade

The city of Tega Cay invites boaters to participate in the city’s annual boat parade Saturday, July 4.

Participants are encouraged to decorate their boats in a patriotic theme and wear costumes that celebrates the holiday. Boaters can win prizes from sponsors, including:

▪  Grand Prize (best overall): $100 cash and $75 gas certificate from Lake Wylie Marina

▪  Most Creative Theme: $150 gift certificate from Tega Cay Marina

▪  Most Patriotic (best use of red, white, and blue): $50 gift certificate from Casual Water Restaurant

▪  First Prize: Inshore automatic inflatable life vest from West Marine ($109 value)

▪  Best Use of Sound: $30 gift certificate to Danny’s Pizza & Pasta

▪  Second Prize: $25 gift certificate to Toast Café

▪  Third Prize: $20 gift card to West Marine
