June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month and the Humane Society of York County will hold a special event 1 p.m. June 27.

The shelter, at 8177 Regent Parkway, is offering special, low adoption fees on cats and kittens all day. Learn all you need to know about feline behavior and more from cat enthusiasts. The celebration includes free snacks.
