Rod Ruth rejoins Clover School District as principal of Clover High School, effective July 1.
Ruth, 36, was assistant principal at Oakridge Middle School from 2012-2014. He served the past year as principal at York Middle School.
“It’s with a high level of excitement I return to the Clover family,” he said. “My time in Clover exposed me to a network of relationships with professionals that represent the best in education and that certainly motivated my desire to return.”
Ruth replaces Mark Hopkins, who has been named the district’s executive director of secondary education and administrative services after serving five years as prinicipal.
