Dollar Daze holds grand opening
Dollar Daze owners Yoseph and Jennifer Alejandro held a grand opening celebration July 11 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Lake Wylie Chamber of Commerce.
During the event, a prize drawings were awarded for a 60-inch Element television and two gift baskets with store products.
Dollar Daze is a family operated dollar store at The Anchor Shops, 131 Evergreen Road.
“The store is unique since we are not a franchise and can tailor it to the community and get any product the customers are in need of,” Yoseph Alejandro said.
The Alejandros have three boys: Joey 17, Juan, 15 and Angel, 13.
The store is open 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 803-675-6656.
Chamber welcomes mortgage company
Lake Wylie Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting event 9:30-10:30 a.m. July 22 for Stonegate Mortgage -Andrew Miller at the chamber’s offices, 264 Latitude Lane, suite 102.

Belmont State Farm office moves
Phil Champion’s State Farm Insurance Agency showcased renovations July 9 at the former Scruggs Opry House, at 124 N. Main St., with a Montcross Area Chamber Network After Work event.
Anthony Scruggs and the music of Firecreek Bluegrass Band kicked off the celebration. Formerly on Catawba Street in Belmont, State Farm - Phil Champion moved earlier this month.

Lake Wylie Chamber of Commerce will hold Business After Hours 5:30-7:30 p.m. July 30 at River Hills Marina, 54 Marina Road.

After a grand opening on Independence Day, Hunan To Go in Stanley celebrated with Montcross Area Chamber members and a ribbon-cutting ceremony July 10.
