Sheriff: Suspect wanted in armed robbery at Lake Wylie gas station

Jonathan Alexander Phillips, 23, of York is wanted by York County Sheriff’s Office for armed robbery at Murphy Express gas station at 138 Hwy. 274.

Phillips is 5’11”, weighs 150 pounds, and has tatoos on his right and left arms and chest and back, the report states. His last known address is Highway 321 Bypass, York.

The suspect took cash and a 24 ounce beer during an armed robbery just after 12:30 a.m. Aug. 13.

Surveillance video was released Thursday afternoon.
