Meeting Aug. 25 about N.C.-S.C. state line changes

An informational session about the North Carolina-South Carolina state line changes is 6-7 p.m. Aug. 25 at Oakridge Middle School, 5650 Highway 557.

Event speakers are: Frank Rainwater, Revenue and Fiscal Affairs; Emory Smith, S.C. Attorney General’s Office; and Alan-Jon Zupan, Revenue and Fiscal Affairs. Also in attendance will be representatives Raye Felder, Deborah A. Long, Dennis C. Moss, Steve Moss, Ralph W. Norman, and Thomas E. “Tommy” Pope along with senators Robert “Wes” Hayes and Harvey S. Peeler. David Ballars and Matt Wellslager, both from Revenue and Fiscal Affairs, will be there as well.
