Community prayer conference Oct. 3
The Journey at Lake Wylie, 5415 Highway 557, will host a free conference for the entire community on The Amazing Power of Prayer from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 3.
Conference leaders are Jesse and Elizabeth Enns of Antioch International Church in Charlotte. The Enns moved here from Vancouver, British Columbia, in 2005. Both are musicians, song writers and worship leaders having released their first worship album in 2009. In 2010, they began a nonprofit ministry called the Power Fund, which helps provide funding for the poor, orphan, widows and emergency relief during catastrophes.
The conference goal is to unite to pray for one another, churches, families, country and the cause of Christ throughout the world.
“We hope and pray our community will come together and unite in prayer,” said Pastor Kenny Ashley of The Journey. “Our goal is to awaken people to the urgent need for the body of Christ to join together and help the Lord build His kingdom in our little corner of the world.”
