Tour Bethel fire station Oct. 11 in Lake Wylie

The Bethel Volunteer Fire Department and Bethel Fire Tax District invited the community to a grand opening and blessing of Station No. 1 at 3 p.m. Oct. 11 at 5620 Oakridge Road.

There will be station tours and refreshments served.

The department moved into the new station Nov. 22, 2014. York County Council approved $2 million in 2013 from the special tax district budget that funds the department.
