Developer Lennar picked Doby’s Bridge Elementary as one of six schools to receive money to plant trees on campus.

Lennar is donating money for new trees at schools near its subdivisions. Doby’s Bridge is close to the Waterside at the Catawba community.

“Tree planting has so many benefits for the environment and the Elemen-Tree program is going to go even beyond that,” said Lennar Charlotte Division President Jon Hardy. “For students, this is going to allow them to take ownership of their surroundings, learn about nature and beautify their campuses.”
