As Breast Cancer Awareness Month continues, Fort Mill High School is stinging cancer with the Yellow Jackets’ Restaurant Wars. The following restaurants are donating 50 percent of the cost of selected orders in October to the school’s fundraising effort for the American Cancer Society:

▪ Empire Pizza: Bruschetta pizza (any size)

▪ Local Dish: Shrimp and grits

▪ Charanda Mexican Grill and Cantina: Mango salmon

▪ Towne Tavern: Buffalo and chicken Cabrese wrap

▪  Danny’s Pizza: $5 donated for any school-ordered 18-inch pizza

▪ Zaxby’s: Birthday cake shake

▪ Smoothie King: medium Angel Food smoothie

▪ Hobo’s: Pink Weekly Special

▪ Beef O’Brady’s: Fort Mill Build Your Own Burger

The restaurant with the highest donation will be recognized at a home basketball game in November.

Earlier this month, Fort Mill and Nation Ford high schools teamed up for the annual Pink-Out football game and raised money for the A Crucial Catch Campaign, a partnership between the American Cancer Society and the NFL. For more information, email fmhspinkout@gmail.com.
