Clover school board OKs strategic plan
At its regular meeting Oct. 19, the Clover school board voted to adopt a new strategic plan, which will take effect immediately and run through the 2020 school year.
Residents throughout the district were solicited for thier ideas and opinions of what the community would to see emphasized within Clover School District.
The result is a “much more global type of strategic plan,” Superintendent Marc Sosne said. In addition to striving for top academic success, “we want to encourage a more involved community and create better citizens.”
Four strategic goals will drive the district:
▪ To create and sustain state-of-the-art environments where students, families and the community thrive to be continual learners.
▪ To cultivate expectations for student success through rigorous, engaging instruction with encouragement and support to achieve personal best.
▪ To provide experiences to maximize the potential of each student.
▪ To expand and enrich reciprocal community and school partnerships that engage all stakeholders in and beyond Clover.
