Second Harvest giving away food in Indian Land Nov. 18
A Second Harvest mobile food pantry will give away food at 9 a.m. Nov. 18 at Belair United Methodist Church on Shelly Mullis Road in Indian Land.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
The food distribution was organized by Faith Presbyterian Church and Belair UMC. The pantry is open to all who are in need. Food is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Recipients must meet the income eligibility guidelines established by the USDA. ID is required at registration.
Belair UMC also operates a food pantry for Indian Land residents twice a month on the first and third Thursday mornings. Donations of food or cash may be dropped off at the church office.
