The WBT Briarhoppers are the original band members who first came together in 1934 to fill the bill for WBT radio’s request for a hillbilly band to help promote its products. Enjoy a day of crafts, music, a costume parade, fairy house workshops, horse-drawn carriage rides. Author Tracy Kane will lead two workshops: build of whimsical fairy houses in Lost Hollow at 11 a.m. and the Orchid Conservatory at 1 p.m. Participants will collect and use natural supplies and build fairy dwells. Halle Russell will host two workshops at 9 a.m. and noon. Fairy houses from Halle’s workshops may be used in the holiday display and can be picked up after the holidays.
