Rouse, Best wed at the greenway

Taylor Carter Rouse and Jared Allen Best, both of Fort Mill, were married Aug. 1, 2015 at the Anne Springs Greenway in Fort Mill.

The Rev. Matthew Cavin officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kenny and Debbie Rouse of Fort Mill. She graduated in 2015 from Clemson University and is currently a graphic designer in Waco, Texas.

The bridegroom is the son of Allen and Julianne Best of Fort Mill. He graduated in 2015 from Furman University in Greenville and is currently at Baylor University studying for his Masters in Percussion Performance.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Kenny Rouse. She wore an ivory silk Organza gown by Mori Lee with a delicate lace fitted bodice. She carried a bouquet of fresh garden roses, peach roses, cream stock, green succulents, dusty miller, seeded eucalyptus, scabiosa pods, and anemones.

Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Chandler Rouse of Fort Mill.

Bridesmaids were Alexandra Best, the Groom’s sister of Fort Mill, Olivia Bouldin and Kristin Floyd, both close friends of the Bride of Fort Mill, and Mary Hyatt Baker, the Bride’s close friend of Clemson.

They wore a floor length gown in navy chiffon. Each carried a bouquet roses, anemones, and dusty miller.

The Best man was Jon Witmer of Fort Mill.

Groomsmen were David Liotta, Hayden Davenport, and Robert Harwell of Fort Mill and Graham McBride of Spartanburg, all close friends of the groom’s.

The couple exchanged their vows under a tree with flowers hanging from the branches in front of family and friends. A reception was held at the Greenway’s Dairy Barn.

The newlyweds honeymooned at St. Lucia and settled in Waco, Texas.
