Sheriff's office: $107 worth of beer stolen at Lake Wylie + VIDEO
A man lifted six cases of beer off a delivery truck Nov. 12 at Murphy Express, York County Sheriff’s Office reports.
While a truck driver from a beer distributor was in his truck making a delivery at the gas station on Highway 274, a man walked over to the stack and stole six 24 packs of Bud Light beer valued at $107, public information officer Trent Faris said.
The suspect is a white male, age 25-27, with brown hair, blue eyes, and was wearing a khaki Carhartt jacket, the report states.
The suspect covered the license plate of his vehicle, a dark Ford Explorer or Expedition, with a paper towel before the theft. .
