Here are the things I’m thankful for this year

It’s Thanksgiving and I wanted to share what this holiday means to me. I’m thankful for so many things. Some things are big and some things are small. One big thing is that my family’s house is getting some big repairs right now and I am so grateful that we have people to help us get it fixed.

I’m also thankful for:

▪  Friends: My friends are always there for me. They help me study, they check and make sure that I know they want me to get better when I’m sick, and they also cheer me up when I’m feeling bad.

▪  Family: My family is always there for me and I love them so much. My 9 year-old sister named Charlotte is three years younger than I am. She is awesome and always wants to play with me. I don’t know what I would do without my family.

▪  My house: I have a roof over my head. My grandparents are very nice and they are letting us stay at their house while ours is under construction.

▪  My dog: I have a chocolate lab at home named Maggie. She sleeps on my feet and she is very friendly and so funny!

We should be thankful for what we have, even if what we have isn’t perfect.
