Have breakfast with Santa and the Fort Mill High Dance Team
It’s the time of year again to enjoy waffles with the big man in red and support local students.
The Fort Mill High School Dance Team’s annual Breakfast with Santa fundraiser will be held Saturday at the school. The event has become so popular that it expanded to two serving times, head coach Liz Dukes said.
“It’s one of our favorite events we look forward to each year,” she said. “We are excited to be doing it again.”
The breakfast will be waffles served with fruit and sausage. Participants will enjoy a holiday-themed performance by the 15-member Fort Mill Dance Team. Photos with Santa, games and Christmas stories will add to the entertainment.
Vendors selling local goods and crafts will also be on site.
“It’s a super fun event,” Dukes said.
The fundraiser helps support the team’s ability to compete in competitions such as the Universal Cheerleaders Association sponsored Smoky Mountain Christmas Championships held this past weekend in Tennessee.
Last year, the breakfast helped the team compete in the Universal Dance Association National Dance Championship at Walt Disney World.
“It is a great team,” Dukes said. “They work really hard.”
