River Hills Community Church adds new service Jan. 10
River Hills church launching new service Jan. 10
River Hills Community Church, 104 Hamilton’s Ferry Road, begins a new new Christian worship service called Experience at 9:15 a.m. Jan. 10.
Experience is designed to be innovative and organically linked to Christian heritage. River Hills Community Church members worked to follow God’s lead and put the right team in place to bring Experience to fruition calling on Pastor Gayle Montgomery more than two years ago and musical leadership of Bobby Little. The two interweave music, Scripture and experiential elements to allow attendees to express love for God.

Ministry sets up fundraiser page
New Life Purpose Ministries has set up a fundraiser Web page to reach its goal to help recovery for people suffering substance abuse, or emotional and mental health disorders. The site is gogetfunding.com/new-life-purpose-ministries/.
“We have helped countless individuals in their quest for recovery, yet we have little to no financial support,” said the Rev. Ricou L. Williams, senior director and founder of New Life Purpose Ministries/Take 2 Enhancement Programs started in 2013.
The transitional recovery program includes spiritual enhancement, interpersonal relations and identifying with core problems, vocational training and assistance with underlying issues, assistance and programs for men and women with Alzheimer’s and dementia and family programs.
The goal is reach $10,000 to provide shelter, food, clothing, transportation and medical assistance.
The ministry is now on the list for housing through Wells Fargo Community Urban Stabilization Program, designed to assist nonprofit agencies with donated properties.
