Lake Wylie Lions dance their hearts out at Valentine Gala
The annual River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club Valentine Gala featured the singing of Les Marple, an entertainer from the greater Charlotte area.
His music is a blend of country and bluegrass influenced by his mother and jazz and the vocals of the great artists, such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin and Tony Bennett. Lions and their guests danced to golden oldies and beach music.
Another feature of the event was a dinner prepared under the direction of the River Hills Country Club's new chef, Nick Apap.
