Graceline: Manifest your destiny with one flesh, one spirit

God created Adam in His own image. God gave life to Adam.

Then the Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him."

So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the Lord God took out one of the man's ribs and closed up the opening. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and He brought her to the man.

"At last!" the man exclaimed. "This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called 'woman,' because she was taken from ‘man.'"

This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame. Genesis 2:18, 21-25 NLT

Isn’t that beautiful? This is the divine order. This is the way God intended humankind to live, love and multiply in order to fill the entire earth with His children and so manifest His glory.

And Adam knew Eve as his wife, and she became pregnant and bore Cain; and she said, I have gotten and gained a man with the help of the Lord. And [next] she gave birth to his brother Abel. Genesis 4:1-2 AMP

God gave humankind a wondrous and joyous gift of reproducing. That is important. Man can’t have a baby without the woman. Woman can’t have a baby without the man. The man and the woman both have their own function in the gift. One implants. The other manifests.

He that is joined to the she is ONE FLESH.

He that is joined to the Lord is ONE SPIRIT.

When Mom and Dad become ONE FLESH, Dad implants a single seed. When those two cells unite, a miracle happens. Dad’s seed contains 23 of his 46 chromosomes. Mom’s egg contains 23 of her chromosomes. Dad has 46 chromosomes total and so does Mom. Those 46 chromosomes contain the blueprint for Dad and the blueprint for Mom.

No two blueprints are the same. God-designed human beings to be a unique manifestation of Himself.

When those two cells unite, the child begins the miraculous process that will manifest the characteristics of the lives of both Mom and Dad. However, he or she will become a unique, one-of-a-kind expression of that union. It’s an amazing miracle.

He that is joined to the Lord is ONE SPIRIT. (1 Corinthians 6:17)

When by faith we are born of the Spirit, God’s Spirit joins our spirit and we become ONE SPIRIT. We become a one-of-a-kind spiritual being created to manifest the glory of God in our own unique way.

When Jesus walked the earth, He said, “I don’t do anything except what the Father tells me to do and what He tells me to say. I cannot do anything on my own.” John 5:19 & 30

Jesus answered to Philip, who didn’t understand, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you really knew Me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him."

Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us."

Jesus answered: “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father ... The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing His work. Believe me when I say I am in the Father and the Father is in Me.” John 14:6-11 NIV

People came to see Jesus. They came to hear from Jesus. They came to be fed, healed, encouraged and comforted by Jesus. But Jesus said He didn’t do anything. It was the Father doing His work. Jesus simply manifested the Father.

Whenever we are joined to Christ, we become ONE SPIRIT. We become a brand new creation, and who we used to be is dead and gone. His life becomes our life, and we no longer live, but Christ lives in us. Galatians 2:20

If He is our life, we cannot help but manifest Him as Jesus manifested His Father. He will be living His life in us, through us, for us, as us. If we just get out of His way, people see Jesus even though they think they are looking at us.
