Nation Ford boys soccer ranked 20th in nation

Nation Ford High School opens the S.C. boys’ soccer playoffs tonight ranked No. 3 in the state 20th in the nation, according to the latest USA Today/National Soccer Coaches Association of America rankings.

The Falcons (17-3-0), scheduled to host Greenville tonight in the first round of the playoffs, cracked the poll’s top 20 for the first time all season. Ironically, Nation ford made the list after losing its final regular season match 4-2 to Rock Hill last week.

That was only the second Region 3-4A loss for the Falcons.

Among S.C. schools, Wando is the highest ranked on the list at No. 2. the polls rankings are updated weekly. Click here for the complete rankings.
