John Mark Trainer completed his Eagle Project with a goal to encourage people to get outside and read.

He built a Little Free Library at Bethel Elementary School and repainted two benches near the playground.

From months of preparation, he learned it was challenging to complete the project from the original plan. It brings a great sense of accomplishment to drive by and see young children and their families using the library.

There are Little Free Libraries being built throughout Lake Wylie and Clover areas. Look for information at Littlefreelibrary.com.

John Mark is a senior at Clover High School and plans to attend North Greenville University in the fall and join the National Guard.
