16.49 tips scales on Lake Wylie for win
The first Thursday night of June saw 38 boats take to the water of Lake Wylie for bass fishing competition.
The father-son team of Russ and David Winters brought five bass to the scale at 16.49 pounds to win the Thursday Night Tournament Trail.
Second place went to Robin Carico and Mike Bushue with 14.10 pounds.
The big fish of the night was brought in by Chris Haas and Eric Cantrell weighing 4.48 pounds.
The weekly tournament runs through Aug. 25, with launches and weigh-ins at Buster Boyd Access Area. The championship is Sept. 2-3.
