Weekly Lake Wylie fishing tourney win tight
First place squeaks out win in field of 50 fishing in the June 23 Thursday Night Tournament Trail.
Mike Stone and Joe Floyd won with five-bass tipping the scale at 15.34 pounds followed by close second place finish by Travis Young and Neil Sheehan with 15.33 pounds.
The big fish of the night was brought in by the father-son team of Brian and Cole Huskins. It weighed 5.50 pounds.
The weekly tournament runs through Aug. 25, with launch and weigh-in at Buster Boyd Access Area. The championship is Sept. 2-3.
