Letter to the editor: No NBA All-Star game, no good
I just read that the NBA decided to move the scheduled NBA All-Star game out of Charlotte because of North Carolina’s House Bill declaring that men are not welcome in women’s bathrooms. Can you believe we are even talking about this perversion? When Obama lit up the White House in rainbow colors it emboldened those pursuing these God awful lifestyles.
Here is the hypocrisy exhibited by the NBA. They are making attempts to broaden their market by reaching out to China. Do these knuckleheads realize the horror that homosexuals and transgenders are exposed to in China every day? The NBA commissioner thinks that protests are a one way street. Target found out the hard way that protests are not a one way street when they were boycotted and it cost their stores MILLIONS of dollars.
Charlotte and the surrounding communities have a very active Christian presence and we can make the NBA feel the same financial pain that Target felt by boycotting anything that has to do with the NBA, including the Charlotte Hornets.
Steph Curry had an opportunity to step up as a Christian athlete but he fell flat on his face when he was interviewed about the decision. We needed a Curt Schilling moment out of Seth and his knees buckled. The NBA makes it very easy to for you to contact them. Go online and express your anger.
