Sisters Emma and Lila Miller and their mom Julia visited the fort Mill Police Department last week to give officers a poster they made and a goodie bag filled with candy and other treats for officers to share.

The girls said they wanted to do something nice for the town’s police officers to thank them for keeping the town safe. Apparently, they are not alone.

“The support has been overwhelming from the community,” Fort Mill Police Chief Jeff Helms said.

“The cards, messages, phone calls and baked goods have been greatly appreciated. We are blessed to work in such a great town and have so many residents that care.”
