Aces for Craig, Stevens

Laura Craig shot a hole-in-one on hole 8 using a 3-wood at Springfield Golf Club May 24. The shot was witnessed by her husband Dino Mantikos, and Stephen Mantikos.

Bob Stevens made a hole-in-one on hole 17 May 23 at Fort Mill Golf Club. He used a gap wedge for the 100-yard shot. It was witnessed by Warren Brown, Ron Sneed and Tim Owens. It was Stevens’ third ace.

Fort Mill High holds football camp

Fort Mill High will host a football camp from 9 a.m. to noon June 22-25 for first- through eighth-graders who want to learn and practice the fundamentals of football.

The camp is led by Fort Mill head coach Ed Susi, his assistant coaches and players. Campers will be grouped according to age and skill levels and water will be provided. Campers should wear cleats, shorts and T-shirts, but have tennis shoes in case they go inside.

Fort Mill High offers wrestling camp

Fort Mill High will hold a wrestling camp from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 17-19 at the school.

The camp will feature former college wrestlers and current college coaches as instructors. For more information, call wrestling coach Chris Brock at 803-548-1900.

Nation Ford to hold football camp

The Nation Ford High football team will offer a football camp for ages 6-13 from 9 a.m. to noon June 15-19 at Nation Ford Stadium.

The cost for the camp is $110. The camp is noncontact and will stress fundamentals and techniques. Campers will participate in offensive, defensive and special team drills implemented and directed by Falcons head coach Michael Allen. Nation Ford football coaches and players will assist.
