Sharks win opening meets of the season
The Fort Mill Sharks won their opening swim meet of the season in Division V of the Greater Charlotte Swim League beating Blakeney 421.5-397.5.
The Sharks won 12 of 20 relay events against Blakeney. Fort Mill had six winners finish first in multiple events with Mackenzie Riga leading the way, as she won three events.
Individual winners for Fort Mill against Blakeney were:
Mackenzie Riga – girls’ 9-10 25-yard freestyle, 25-yard breaststroke and 10 and under 100-yard individual medley
Will Chadwick – boys’ 8 and under 25-yard freestyle and 25-yard butterfly
Celina Vu – girls’ 8 and under 25-yard freestyle and 25-yard butterfly
Luke Claudy – boys’ 9-10 25-yard freestyle and 25-yard backstroke
Diego Caravaca – boys’ 10 and under 100-yard individual medley and 25-yard butterfly
Andres Cuellar – boys’ 15-18 100-yard individual medley and 50-yard breaststroke
Julia Claudy – girls’ 6 and under 25-yard freestyle
Luke Stralow – boys’ 6 and under 25-yard freestyle
AJ Stralow – boys’ 11-12 50-yard freestyle
Lauren Seco – girls’ 13-14 50-yard freestyle
Jada Norman – girls’ 15-18 50-yard freestyle
Kayla Kyle – girls’ 9-10 25-yard backstroke
Charley Rae – boys’ 8 and under 25-yard breaststroke
Alex Tang – boys’ 9-10 25-yard breaststroke
Ryan Fisher – boys’ 13-14 50-yard breaststroke
The Sharks also beat Landen Meadows 498-317 later in the week. Individual winners for the Sharks were:

Grayson Reiger – boys’ 6 and under 25-yard freestyle and 25-yard backstroke
Elizabeth Ford – girls’ 13-14 50-yard freestyle and 50-yard breaststroke
Andres Cuellar – boys’ 15-18 50-yard freestyle and 50-yard breaststroke
Lauren Seco – girls’ 13-14 50-yard backstroke and 100-yard individual medley
