Tega Cay’s Breakers peaking heading into championship swim meet
The Tega Cay Breakers are firing on all cylinders heading into Saturday’s Metrolina Championship meet at the Rock Hill Aquatics Center.
The Breakers won two more meets last week, including a weather-shortened contest against the Landing, 268.5-159.5. Individual winners for the Breakers in that meet were:
Kelsey Holloway – girls’ 15-18 100-yard individual medley and 50-yard breaststroke
Colin Maloney – boys’ six and under 25-yard freestyle and 25-yard backstroke
Tyler Ayer – boys’ 9-10 25-yard freestyle and 100-yard individual medley
Collin McCann – boys’ 11-12 50-yard freestyle and 50-yard breaststroke
Josie Chandler – girls’ 7-8 25-yard backstroke and 25-yard breaststroke
Aubrey Chandler – girls’ 13-14 50-yard backstroke and 100-yard individual medley
Alexandra Cheski – girls’ six and under 25-yard freestyle
Carly Vollmer – girls’ 7-8 25-yard freestyle
Madison Taylor – girls’ 13-14 50-yard freestyle
