Breakers win 7th straight Metrolina swim title
The Tega Cay Breakers swam away with its seventh consecutive Metrolina Swim League title Saturday to finish the season undefeated.
Tega Cay scored 795 points besting its closest competition – Rock Hill Country Club – which came in second with 569 points. The Breakers won five of the eight relay events. Individuals winning for Tega Cay in the championship meet were:
Josie Chandler – girls’ 7-8 25-yard freestyle, 25-yard backstroke and 25-yard butterfly
Aubrey Chandler – girls’ 13-14 50-yard freestyle, 50-yard backstroke and 100-yard individual medley

Brady Kam – boys’ 7-8 25-yard freestyle and 25-yard breaststroke
Elizabeth Scales – girls’ 11-12 50-yard backstroke and 50-yard butterfly
Brian Cavanaugh – boys’ 15-18 100-yard individual medley and 50-yard breaststroke
Zoey Selby – girls’ 9-10 25-yard freestyle
Tyler Ayer – boys’ 9-10 25-yard freestyle

Mitchell Anderson – boys’ 9-10 25-yard backstroke

Tega Cay also dominated in the Metrolina Invitational beating the Landing Gators, the Breakers’ closest competition, 935-233. The Breakers won all eight relay events in that meet. Individual winners were:
