Sharks add 2 more wins, remain undefeated
The Fort Mill Sharks swim team added two more wins to stay undefeated headed into the last week of the summer swim season.
The Sharks (5-0) beat both Brightmoor and Lake Park last week. Fort Mill defeated Lake Park 505-331 and swam past Brightmoor 524-284. Fort Mill has two away meets this week against Brandon Oaks and Landon Meadows to wrap up the season.
Fort Mill won 16 of 20 relays and 37 of 50 individual events against Brightmoor. Individual winners for Fort Mill were:
Kelsey Kusick – girls’ 11-12 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard individual medley and 50-yard butterfly
AJ Stralow – boys’ 11-12 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard individual medley and 50-yard butterfly
Vialyn Castilla – girls’ 15-18 50-yard freestyle, 50-yard backstroke and 50-yard butterfly
Aliya Ling – girls’ eight and under 25-yard freestyle and 25-yard breaststroke
Caden Wolf – boys’ 9-10 25-yard freestyle and 100-yard individual medley
Grayson Reiger – boys’ eight and under 25-yard backstroke and 25-yard butterfly
Sophia Bujoreanu – girls’ 9-10 25-yard backstroke and 100-yard individual medley
Kaitlyn Cairns – girls’ 11-12 50-yard backstroke and 50-yard breaststroke
Justin Fisher – boys’ 11-12 50-yard backstroke and 50-yard breaststroke
George Bujoreanu – boys’ 13-14 100-yard individual medley and 50-yard breaststroke
Luis Bravo – boys’ 15-18 100-yard individual medley and 50-yard butterfly
Addison Ling – boys’ six and under 25-yard freestyle
Carson Wolf – boys’ eight and under 25-yard freestyle
