York County man distributed child porn online, SC investigators say
A York County man was jailed on 14 charges for allegedly distributing child pornography, according to the S.C. Attorney General’s Office.
David Corey Clark, 28, of Catawba, is charged with four counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 10 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to officials. He was arrested Wednesday and remained in the Moss Justice Center Thursday under $35,000 bond.
Investigators with the attorney general’s office and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force made the arrest, with assistance from the York County Sheriff’s Office and the Rock Hill Police Department.
Investigators say Clark was involved in distributing child pornography via a file sharing network. He faces up to 10 years in prison for each count, if convicted.
