Handgun, beer stolen from parked car in Rock Hill
A handgun and a 12-pack of beer were stolen out of a parked car early Thursday morning, according to a Rock Hill police report.
The driver of the car told Rock Hill police he parked in a lot on the 700 block of Ogden Road shortly after midnight and went into a store. The windows of the car were left halfway down, the report states.
When the driver returned, he was missing a 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun with two clips from the glove compartment, along with the beer that was in the front seat.
The driver told police he saw a suspicious man watching him from the stop sign along the road, but police were unable to locate the man in the area.
