Man found unconscious in Rock Hill charged with heroin, morphine possession
A Lancaster man was arrested Thursday on multiple drug charges after he was found unconscious in his car in Rock Hill.
Joshua Nicholas Roberts, 24, was spotted in his car, which was still running, just before 7 p.m. on Manchester Street, according to a Rock Hill police report. When they were treating him, the emergency medical technicians found several containers of pills and a syringe.
After being treated at Piedmont Medical Center, Roberts admitted to using heroin and said all of the pills were his, the report states.
He had 68 doses of morphine, two bundles of heroin, seven doses of the anxiety drug Alprazolam and 50 doses of a gastrointestinal stimulant, which is not a controlled substance.
Roberts was released from the hospital, taken to jail and charged with unlawful possession of prescription drugs, heroine possession, morphine trafficking and possession of Alprazolam.
