Police investigating abuse claim at Rock Hill assisted living center

An employee of a Rock Hill assisted living center is under investigation after a 75-year-old woman told authorities an employee had injured her arm while she was in the shower, according to a police report.

No charges have been filed against the employee, the report states, but Rock Hill police and the assisted living center are investigating the incident.

The woman told police the employee was in a rush to dress her after bathing, according to the report, and that her arm was scratched and she was in pain after the incident.

The employee was escorted from the building by staffers at the assisted living center and was placed on leave pending an investigation, the report states.
