Police: Woman cited for pot possession while being discharged from Rock Hill hospital
A York woman was cited for possession of marijuana Friday after two bags of the drug were found in her purse when she was being discharged from Rock Hill’s Piedmont Medical Center hospital, a police report shows.
Rock Hill police were called to the hospital after a security guard going through the woman’s purse before she was discharged “noticed two small bags of marijuana,” in the purse, according to the report.
The woman, 25, told police she “forgot” about the 4.76 grams of marijuana in her purse and it was for “personal use.”
